We are now inviting professionals and researchers to submit abstracts for the 6th BIR Annual Radiotherapy and Oncology Meeting 2026.

Abstract submission deadline: 17 October 2025; Register now

This annual meeting has been steadily developing year on year… it would be great to have material showcased from colleagues from all disciplines – physicists, radiographers, clinicians, researchers and academics, dosimetrists, engineers, nurses... all involved and contributing to developments in Radiotherapy and Oncology in some way are welcome.  It still remains a fully multidisciplinary meeting solely focused on RT and Oncology.

Sessions for 2026 include:

  • Looking to the future - NHS 10 year plan
  • New modalities
  • Advanced practice/workforce
  • Proffered papers
  • Improving workflows
  • Trials
  • Patient experience
  • Implementing advancing safer radiotherapy
  • Adaptive Radiotherapy
  • International collaboration

As part of our on-going collaboration with the ARR we’ll also feature a session organised by the ARR, to include invited and proffered talks complementary to BIRTO26.

We welcome your abstracts for ePoster and oral presentations.  If your ePoster abstract is accepted, you will be invited to display it as an online resource for people to view your work before, during and after the event.
